Our story
AR Mahomed Attorneys or AR-M Attorneys as we are fondly known, was founded by University of Johannesburg Bcom LLB graduate, Abdur Rehman.
Abdur’s legal career began in 2009 when he obtained his Bcom degree in Law, from the University of Johannesburg, he then furthered his studies and went on to obtain his LLB degree in 2011.
Abdur practiced as an attorney for a reputable firm up until 2015, Before embarking on a journey to open AR.M Attorneys, in 2016. Abdur had a vision of expanding the firm and in doing so the doors of AR-M Attorneys Lenasia was opened in February of 2018.
In four short years, the Vereeniging and Lenasia branches have grown exponentially, as such AR-M currently employs five admitted attorneys, two of which, are conveyancers and one a notary, two candidate attorneys and not forgetting our 8 administrative staff members who proudly and efficiently service the communities of the South of Gauteng,
In 2022, the firm expanded to service clientele in the northern Johannesburg Suburb’s and as a result, our Greenside branch was opened, which branch now services the whole of the Johannesburg North region.
